Before help arrives

What to Do Right Now.

If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 911 first. Then call us.

01
Get everyone safe.
Leave the building if it is unsafe. Stay out of areas with structural damage, sagging ceilings or standing water.
02
Stop the water if you safely can.
Shut off the main water valve to limit the damage.
03
Keep clear of electrical hazards.
Don’t touch switches, outlets or appliances near water. Switch off power at the breaker only if you can reach it from a dry spot.
04
Document the damage.
Take photos and video before anything is moved or cleaned — your insurance carrier will ask for them.
05
Protect what you can.
Move documents, electronics and valuables away from water, if it is safe to do so.
General safety guidance. When in doubt, stay out of the building and wait for help.

Restore and rebuild

A General Contractor, Not a Mitigation-Only Firm.

We self-perform mechanical, plumbing, roofing, electrical and construction. After a loss, the same company carries the job from stabilization to rebuilt.

Certified mitigation work is carried out by certified specialists AWC engages. How each project is staffed is decided project by project.
